Cheryl fell in love with cooking the way only a few do, by cooking for their close family and friends. After witnessing their reaction; it inspired her to begin to take it more seriously.

Cheryl recalls how her mother would often call her into the kitchen and tell her that she needed to learn, she responded as most teens would, “i see you but can it wait”. 13 years later, Cheryl never “puts off” spending time in her Kitchen. She has completely fallen in love with the art of creating a hearty southern meal for her family, friends, and anyone who has an appetite.

Cheryls’ passion for feeding others’ soul, stems from her love of seeing people happy, laughing, and smiling. Which is also how she became a local stand up comedian known by most as Walla.

Walla loves the appreciation she receives from anyone who taste one her meals( or attends one of her shows;-) and creates every dish with patience, love, and graditude. As her favorite quote goes, “ A mothers work is never done!”
