As the 2nd oldest of four; with parents who worked full time, Jean’s Mom taught him a few of her “kitchen necessities” so that he could cook for himself and his brothers. Through this independence, He also gained a love for being in the kitchen. At a young age, Jean enjoyed being the reason someone else was smiling and his passion in the kitchen grew into a desire make it his career.

Jean went on to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts from the Lincoln Culinary Institute in Hartford, CT, as well as, studied abroad for almost 2 years at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners.

Through this experience, he combined his traditional Haitian background with his trained knowledge and created delectable, mouthwatering signature dishes.

Jean’s love of seeing people smiling and having a great time has never changed & prompted him to get into Connecticut’s Nightlife scene; where he now promotes some of the hottest events across Fairfield county.

Jeans takes great pride in his work. His attention to details and creative energy is poured into every dish he creates, and every event he plans. As He loves to quote “Keep God first, & everything else will fall in line!”
